Cuffs and stone
Our 1, 2, 3 easy
We want to give our customers a bit of an insight into what occurs behind the scenes when you commission us to carry out a repair project on your car. We aim to leave you with a better understanding of what we do, so that you can feel more involved in the project. At IronHide, auto body repair is always 1, 2, 3, easy.
With you present we will carry out a complete inspection of the condition of your vehicle and discuss the work required and cost of restoring your car based on our published price list. Together we then come to agreement as to when the work should begin.
Once agreed, we will then repair the damaged sections of the vehicle, applying filler where necessary to achieve the correct shape. We then sand the part and apply a primer to seal it. Once dried, the part is sanded once more and inspected to ensure the absence of flaws. Paint is then applied, followed by lacquer and allowed to dry.
Once the repair is done and the paint is dry, at least two members of our team carry out a final inspection to ensure the coating meets our quality assurance criteria. The car is then washed and we give you a call to let you know it is ready.
